The Newmarket Hurricanes defeated the Wellington Dukes 4-1 on Friday.
Liam Campbell scored for the Dukes.
The Hurricanes scored an unanswered goal in the first period before scoring again in the second. The Dukes came back in the second half of the frame to score their one and only goal for the night. In the third, the Hurricanes scored twice more to extend their lead and win the game.
The Dukes are back in action on Sunday, hosting the Burlington Cougars.
