Canada was 18 years old when one of the most historic homes in Trenton was constructed.
We have been told the home was constructed by McMurray Nathanal.
Nathanal had a furniture store and was the owner of the funeral home.
For decades the house has been broken up into several rentals.
Fire Chief John Whalen says damage is going to be in the seven figures and the Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in.
