Drought continued in September

It was another very dry month last month in the Quinte region.

In fact, we received less than one quarter of the normal amount of rain for
a September.

According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, just 18.4 millimetres of rain fell last month.

Over the years, September has seen an average of 90 millimetres of rain.

Meanwhile, it was also a warmer month than usual.  The average high for September was 24 degrees, three degrees higher than historical norms.
