Quinte West OPP have laid a charge against a Quinte West man in an impaired driving investigation.
On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a traffic complaint on Quinte Street, led Quinte West OPP to suspect a motorist may have been impaired.
The driver was arrested and transported to the Quinte West Detachment.
65-year-old Steven Brown of Quinte West was charged Failure or refusal to comply with demand.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on November 6, 2025.
Additionally, the vehicle was impounded for seven days, and their license suspended for 90 days.
