Four local dancers are going to be representing their country this fall.
Ella Warner of Brighton and Clara Brown, Chloe Dupont, and Olivia Taylor of Quinte West and they are going to be competing in the International Dance Organization World Championships in Slovenia.
They were selected for Team Canada’s Hip Hop team.
The IDO World Championships bring together top dancers from around the globe, offering these young performers the chance to showcase their talent on an international stage while representing both Quinte West and Canada.
A message from the competitors
Unfortunately dance is not a sport that is financially backed by Canadian athletics and this opportunity to represent their country on the world stage comes with a significant price tag.
