A local woman has done well in the Queen of the Furrow competition at the recent International Plowing Match and Rural Expo in the Niagara Region.
Desiree Dracup, representing Hastings County, was a top-five finalist.
Victoria Kolb of Caledon was crowned Queen of the Furrow.
Awards were presented Friday at the event’s Celebration of Excellence.
