Northumberland OPP are investigating after a break and enter in Brighton.
Officers responded to a call at a multi-unit residence on Meade Street at 8:40 a.m. on Sunday.
The caller told police two people were trying to break into their residence.
Police officers arrived and two men fled the scene. The OPP K-9 unit was was deployed but the two men were not found.
A police investigation into the incident is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact them, or Crime Stoppers.
