Quinte West OPP have laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.
At around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a traffic complaint on 2nd Dug Hill Road led Quinte West OPP to suspect a motorist may have been impaired.
The driver was arrested and transported to the Quinte West detachment where charges were laid.
Forty-seven-year-old Christina Vaneyndthoven was charged with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Obstruct Peace Officer
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Drive motor vehicle – no licence
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on October 23, 2025.
Additionally, her vehicle was impounded for seven days, and their licence suspended for 90 days.
