The City of Belleville has signed a future doctor through its Family Physician Recruitment Program.
Brock Hoard has started medical school and will open a family practice in Belleville after completing his six years of medical school and residency.
“It is our pleasure to announce that Brock Hoard has chosen to make Belleville his home after completion of his medical training,” says Mayor Neil Ellis. “With strong roots in our community, Brock will be a very welcome addition and will help to fill our future needs for high quality family medicine services. Council is very pleased to welcome Brock to our Belleville program, and we look forward to welcoming him back once his training is complete.”
“I’m very excited about the opportunity to join the Belleville medical community in the future,” says Hoard. “Having deep family ties here makes this especially meaningful and I feel grateful for the chance to give back to a community that has always felt like home. I look forward to engaging with patients, building strong relationships and contributing to their health and wellbeing.”
Belleville’s doctor recruitment program has brought in more than 60 doctors and eight nurse practitioners.
