More than 350 cyclists will be riding the smooth roads of southern Lennox & Addington on Saturday, September 6 for the 2025 Discover L&A Ride.
Motorists travelling near Bath, South Shore Hay Bay, Dorland, Adolphustown, Conway and Sandhurst are asked to drive with extra caution and be aware of cyclists on the roads.
Limited tickets are still available for purchase online (until 10 a.m. on Friday, September 5) for $35 each. On event day, tickets can be purchased at the event venue for $40 each, cash only (while quantities last).
The 2025 Discover L&A Ride begins and ends at Bergeron Estate Winery & Cider Co. in Adolphustown. Participants will ride along paved roads that overlook the water’s edge and authentic Eastern Ontario landscapes. Rest stops along the way include Gap Park, downtown Bath, South Fredericksburgh Hall, The Hive & Hearthstone and Old Hay Bay Church before heading back to the winery.
Local products are available before, during and after the ride. Cyclists can enjoy coffee from Humble Coffee House and cookies from Butter My Buns Bakery at registration. Refreshments are available at each of the five rest stops along the route. Apples from Wynn Farms, apple cider donuts from Spring Meadow Orchards, banana bread from Bread & Butter Bakery in Bath, and honey-drizzled ice cream from The Hive & Hearthstone are available. Downtown Bath is the official lunch stop, where participants can purchase items from a variety of local restaurants, cafés and bakeries. Post-ride, Bergeron Estate wines, Cole Point Cider and MacKinnon Brothers beer is available, as is gourmet pizza from Nonna’s Pizza.
The Discover L&A Ride gives visitors a first-hand look at some of the great road cycling opportunities available in Lennox & Addington County, including portions of the extensive County Trails network. County Trails includes 12 looping routes consisting of 600 kilometres of paved roadway. Many of the routes offer extended paved shoulders, which is a key benefit for road cyclists. Thousands of riders have experienced the Lennox & Addington County Trails since debuting in 2006.
