The City of Quinte West says a section of 2nd Dug Hill Road between Highway 2 and Loyalist Parkway will be closed beginning on August 25 for a water and sewer installation as part of the Trenton trunk sewer project.
The closure is expected to last until spring 2026.
Southbound traffic will be detoured west onto Highway 2, south onto County Road 40, and east onto Loyalist Parkway.
Northbound traffic will be detoured west onto Loyalist Parkway, north onto County Road 40, and east onto Highway 2.
2nd Dug Hill Road from Highway 2 to Loyalist Parkway will be open to local traffic only.
