Five people have been arrested and charged following a traffic stop involving members of Project Renewal.
Officers spotted a vehicle in the west end of Belleville on Tuesday, where they say individuals with outstanding warrants were inside.
The individuals were arrested on the strength of the warrants including the driver, who had their licence suspended.
A quantity of methamphetamines, fentanyl, cocaine and cash was seized from the vehicle.
As a result of the police investigation the following persons were arrested and charged:
Thirty-year-old Austin Cooney of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Methamphetamines
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000
- Failing to comply with probation order
Forty-three-year-old Jessie Draker of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Methamphetamines
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000
Thirty-seven-year-old Michael Cornwall-Goddard of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Methamphetamines
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Probation
Thirty-eight-year-old Amanda Loveless of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Methamphetamines
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000
37-year-old Donald Davey of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance – Methamphetamines
