A Pickering, Ontario man has been charged after a drug trafficking investigation in Belleville.
Members of Project Renewal executed a a Controlled Drugs Substance Act Warrant in Belleville’s east end with the assistance of the Belleville Police K9 and Emergency Response Unit on Sunday.
Among the items seized were a quantity of cocaine, Oxycodone pills, Canadian currency and packaging material.
Twenty-six-year-old Michael Currie of Pickering was charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – OxyContin
- Proceeds of crime under $5000
He was held for a bail hearing.
