Anyone interested in the future development of Belleville’s waterfront might be interested in attending an information session Tuesday.
The city is currently undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment and preliminary design study for the rehabilitation of Meyers Pier.
The popular waterfront destination and harbour was built in 1905 and is in need of repairs that will take years and millions of dollars to complete.
Recently the provincial government granted Belleville $623,000 to allow it to do some urgent work on the pier immediately.
The information session will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Meyers Pier.
