It is with great sadness that the family of Bonnie Christine Soule (Futers) announces her passing at the age of 58 on August 6, 2025, at her home in Belleville, Ontario.
She was born on February 13, 1967, to Fred and Beverley Futers (Redner). She is predeceased by her mother, Beverley.
Bonnie was the beloved wife of Mike O’Hara and mother to Andrew. She is stepmom to Colin (Rachel), Ella and grandmother to McCoy. She is the sister of Jeff (Sharon) and Larry (Mary Lynn) and sister-in-law to Maureen (Don). She is the adored Aunt of Austin (Amanda) and Alana, as well as the great aunt to Addison, Abel, and Lily.
She was known far and wide for her infectious smile as well as her care and concern for everyone she came in contact with.
Bonnie grew up on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory before moving to Bancroft with the family in 1985. After graduating from Moira Secondary School, she attended Sir Sanford Fleming College and began her career working in various places before settling in the Belleville area.
Along with her husband Mike, Bonnie worked in their business, Belleville Movers, where she was friends with anyone who would care to know her. She and Mike were very involved in their local church at Trenton Wesleyan, and Bonnie served as a volunteer in many capacities. Together, they were also very passionately involved in the local chapter of Bikers for Christ.
The family would like to thank first responders and the nurses and staff at Belleville General Hospital for their excellent care.
Visitation will be at Trenton Wesleyan Church, 275 2nd Dughill Rd, Trenton, Ontario, at 11:30 AM on Monday, August 11, 2025, followed by the Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Private family interment in Deseronto Cemetery to follow the reception at the church.
