Kingston police have charged a woman with second degree murder as part of an investigation into a suspicious death in Kingston’s west end.
On July 29, 2025, 22-year-old Thi My Nguyen was arrested by detectives from the Major Crime Unit and charged with Improperly Interfering with a Dead Body. Nguyen appeared in Kingston’s bail court on July 30 and was held in custody at that time.
As a result of the continued investigation, Nguyen has now been arrested and is charged with the second-degree murder of a newborn child.
Police believe there is no threat to the public at this time.
