Once again, Napanee will be the host of a major national softball championship.
Eleven teams from across the country will compete for the Under 17 Men’s Canadian Fast Pitch Championship.
The Napanee Express will kick off the tournament on August 6 at 1 p.m. against Newfoundland followed by a game against Quebec that night. The Express are considered a favourite to win a medal.
The tournament runs from August 6 to 10.
This will be the ninth time Napanee has hosted a Softball Canada championship event.
