TheROC Youth Services has a new executive director.
Shannon Collins has been appointed permanently to the position, after taking on the role temporarily in June of 2024.
Collins was selected after an organizational review process that examined several candidates.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Shannon stepping into the role of executive director,” said Catalina Blumenberg, chair of theROC Succession Planning Committee. “Her dedication to the organization, deep roots in the community, and unwavering commitment to youth and families make her the ideal leader for this next chapter. We’re excited for what’s ahead with Shannon at the helm and confident in her vision for theROC’s continued growth and impact.”
Since assuming the role in 2024, Collins has expanded youth programming and volunteer engagement and recently launched YIP-iA,a new initiative designed to support youth as they transition into adulthood.
