The City of Belleville is hosting two community pop-ups to speak about the Transportation Master Plan (TMP).
The first pop-up will take place at the Downtown at Dusk event from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 20.
A day after that, the second pop-up will take place at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre from 10 a.m. to noon.
Each pop-up will provide a status update on the TMP and the city’s progress in implementing its recommendations.
If you are unable to attend the community pop-ups, there is an online survey to provide feedback.
Initially prepared in 2014, the Transportation Master Plan aims to guide transportation infrastructure and services in the city through 2034.
It also provides several transportation planning initiatives.
Items to be completed as recommended in the TMP include a complete streets policy, roundabout policy, sidewalk strategy, road classifications update and railway crossing assessment.
