It’s going to be a busy weekend in Belleville as the Belleville and District Shrine Club hosts the Rameses Spring Ceremonial starting Thursday.
Shriners from clubs throughout the province will converge on the city through Sunday.
On Saturday, a colourful parade will be held starting at 1 p.m.
The parade will begin at the corner of Moira Street East and North Park Gardens, heading west and turning right onto North Park Street, then turning right onto Bell Boulevard, before turning right onto Cannifton Road and then finishing at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
All road closures will be full closures, apart from Bell Boulevard where only the eastbound lanes will be closed.
Shriners in this country support Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada where care is provided for children with muscular and neuromuscular conditions, orthopedics, reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation.
