A female has been left with life-altering injuries following Thursday’s single-vehicle collision on Highway 49 on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
Police say a vehicle left the roadway and rolled, north of Lower Slash Road around 10:30 a.m.
The female passenger was transported to a regional trauma centre with life-altering injuries while the male driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Highway 49 was closed in the area for several hours, reopening last evening.
Tyendinaga police are investigating with assistance from Lennox and Addington OPP and the OPP TIME (Traffic Incident Management Enforcement) Team members.
