A Belleville man faces impaired driving, dangerous driving, and fleeing the scene of an accident charges after a vehicle collided with a parked camper van and then a house in the city Sunday night.
Belleville police responded to a residence on Tank Farm Road shortly before 9 p.m. where residents were holding the suspected driver who was attempting to leave the collision scene.
Through investigation it was learned that the vehicle was speeding on the road and had crossed the intersection with Cannifton Road North before hitting the van and house.
The driver suffered minor injuries but none of the home’s residents was hurt.
Facing the charges is 24-year-old Braden Hunt.
