Picton Harbour Marina has reopened for the 2025 season under the operation of Prince Edward County.
Earlier this year, the County ended its lease agreement with the former operators of the marina property, Tenacity Marina Corporation.
The marina opened Friday and is currently operating with limited services.
Full operation, including fuel service as well as transient and seasonal docking, is expected by May 31.
The marina will be open daily, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. through August 31. The hours will change to 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on September 1.
Check the County website for updates on current services.
Services currently available to boaters as of May 16 are:
Pump-outs — $25 per tank
Boat launching — $5, excludes parking
Limited, paid parking — twospots for vehicles with trailers, four spots for vehicles without trailers, one temporary accessible parking spot
Washrooms/showers
Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) check-in area
Fuel pumps are expected to be repaired in the coming days. The marina will offer premium grade gasoline and diesel fuel at market rates.
Cashless payment is preferred. The Interac payment system is available for all services with the exception of parking, which is paid via the Passport Parking Canada App.
Parking rates will match those of all other municipally operated boat launches ($20 for a vehicle with a trailer and $10 for a vehicle with no trailer). Payment is made via the Passport Parking Canada App (Zone 3233).
The seasonal boat launch parking pass program for municipal boat launches will apply at the marina. The cost of a seasonal pass is $50 for residents / $100 for non-residents. Passes can be purchased online.
If you wish to be placed on the waiting list for a seasonal dock space at Picton Harbour Marina, please email operations@pecounty.on.ca.
Picton Harbour Marina is a designated Port of Entry for CBSA. Boaters entering from out of the country must check in with the CBSA immediately upon docking in Canada. A coin-operated telephone is available 24 hours per day on site to conduct CBSA check-in.
Additional services may be added throughout the season. Stay tuned for service improvements as the season progresses. Any changes to daily services will be published on the county website.
