The Belleville warming centre was again the busiest of three warming centres operated by Hastings County this winter.
In Belleville an average of 37 people took shelter from the cold over a 121-night period.
The average number of overnight guests at Quinte West’s warming centre was eight and in Bancroft
there were seven.
The cost to operate the three supervised centres this winter was $517,000. less than in the previous season.
