The Province of Ontario is investing almost $150,000 into four festivals in Hastings-Lennox & Addington.
The money, coming from the 2025 Experience Ontario program will support the Endless Summer Long Drive Championship at Trillium Wood Golf Club, Back to the Farm 2025 at Mackinnon Brothers Brewing Co, Bancroft Rockhound Gemboree and Just Imagine: 2025 Season in Bancroft at Tweed & Company Theatre.
“I’m thrilled to see these local festivals and events receiving support through the
Experience Ontario program,” says MPP Ric Bresee. “This funding will not only help
showcase the incredible talent and culture in Hastings-Lennox & Addington, but also
bring economic benefits to our communities by attracting visitors, creating jobs, and
supporting our local businesses. These events are a great way to celebrate what makes our region unique, and I’m proud to continue advocating for opportunities that highlight the best of Ontario.”
Stan Cho, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming says, “Festivals and events showcase the best of Ontario, its people and its culture, all while inviting people near and far to experience and enjoy our province. They help create local jobs, provide economic benefits and bring communities together. Now more than ever, it is important that we come together to take part in made-in-Ontario experiences that celebrate our collective identity and support local communities.”
The funding is part of a nearly $20-million investment in festivals and events across Ontario that will support more than 350 festivals and events.
