Two youths have been charged in connection with threats made to a school in Prince Edward County.
Wednesday afternoon around 1:30, Prince Edward County OPP received information of threats directed toward a local school.
With assistance from Prince Edward County Crime Unit and the Tactics and Rescue Unit, two search warrants were conducted at two locations within Prince Edward County.
As a result of the investigation, two young people have been charged with uttering threats.
Both accused were held for bail hearings before the Ontario Court of Justice.
OPP remind the community to promptly report any threats or suspicious behaviour related to school safety. Reporting these incidents allows for immediate investigation and helps maintain a secure learning environment.
