The Belleville Senators’ chances of making the Calder Cup playoffs, although still not great, are looking a little better this morning.
Rallying from a 2-0 third-period deficit Belleville scored four straight to beat the Rochester Americans 4-2.
Stephen Halliday(17th) broke a 2-2 tie with 55 seconds left in regulation.
That leaves the B-Sens four points behind the fifth place Toronto Marlies in the AHL North and both teams have five games left.
Donovan Sebrango (7th) and Garrett Pilon (10th) started the comeback while Keean Washkurak (10th) added an empty netter.
Belleville outshot the Amerks 37-25.
Belleville moves on to Springfield to face the Thunderbirds Friday night.
