Strategic Communications Coordinator – New Position with the Belleville Police Service
We have recognized a need for this position for some time now. After recent consultations with the community, seeking input for our Strategic Plan, it was validated that this position is something that the community supports. As a result, we are pleased to announce a brand new position of Strategic Communications Coordinator.
This position will be responsible for coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of all internal and external communication plans and strategies. The role will leverage our relationship with our media and community partners, deliberately offering content to educate motorists on traffic safety and enforcement, crime prevention targeting youth, seniors, businesses and citizens at large.
We will be sharing police news stories in a more frequent and fulsome manner to profile the great work our members do ensuring safety and community well-being. Our vision is that this role will engage many of our frontline officers to be the face and voice of the service, on real-time messages to our internal and external audience.
