An undermanned Belleville Senators squad returned home from a four-game road trip and dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the visiting Manitoba Moose.
Dominic Toninato scored the winner for Manitoba at 4:46 of overtime.
Wyatt Bongiovanni (18th) and Garrett Pilon (8th) replied for Belleville.
Despite the loss, Head Coach David Bell was proud of his injury-riddled team.
The B-Sens outshot the Moose 34-31.
Belleville sits one point behind fifth place Syracuse and the final playoff spot in the AHL North and hold one game in hand.
The B-Sens and Moose meet again Friday night at the CAA Arena.
