Northumberland OPP have charged a Wasaga Beach man in connection with a child pornography investigation.
Police began investigating on January 28 after receiving information that a minor had been communicating with an adult and that explicit communications had been exchanged.
The Northumberland Crime Unit assisted with the investigation.
On Friday, officers attended an address in Wasaga Beach and arrested one male party.
Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Noble-Murray is charged with:
– Make sexually explicit material available to a person under 14 years of age
– Agreement to commit a sexual offence against a person under 14 years of age
– Luring a person under 14 years of age by means of telecommunication
– Possession of child pornography
– Indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age.
The accused was held for bail before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
