The Wellington Dukes didn’t get on the scoresheet until the third period and it was too little too late.
The Dukes fell to the St. Michael’s Buzzers 4-2 Friday night at the Lehigh Arena.
The Buzzer’s scored all four of their goals in the first two periods, three of them on starting Duke’s goaltender Jacob Brown who was pulled in favour of Dario Cantini early in the second.
Scoring for Wellington were Sacha Trudel (shorthanded) and Kyle Kavc.
St. Michael’s outshot the Dukes 30 to 27. The game was played in front of 557 fans.
