The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a bomb threat at the Lansdowne Place Mall on Wednesday.
Police received a call at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, threatening that there was a bomb in the building.
The mall was quickly evacuated and officers from the York Regional Police Bomb Squad, along with a bomb-sniffing dog, searched the building. The building was later declared safe.
After declaring the building safe, the mall was handed back over to the property owner in the evening.
The Peterborough Police Service is continuing an investigation into the threat, and is asking anyone with relevant information to contact them.
