Centre Hastings and Madoc Township firefighters were called out to a house fire 25 km north of Madoc Saturday morning.
Crews responded after reports of smoke billowing from the windows of a home on Stoney Settlement Road near Cleveland Road at about 9:20 a.m.
The fire was under control by 10:15 a.m.
No one was home at the time of the fire and it’s believed no one was injured.
A damage estimate or a cause is not available.
