The Trenton Golden Hawks are back on the winning track. They beat the Lindsay Muskies 7-2 at home Friday night in front of 705 fans.
Six of the game’s nine goals came in a penalty-filled third period.
Jamie Arlison had a hat trick and Taeo Artichuk scored two with Corbin Roach and Candon O’Neill netting the others for Trenton.
Trenton will be in Oakville Saturday for a 7 o’clock start.
Meanwhile, it wasn’t enough to outshoot the opponent Friday night for the Wellington Dukes.
They lost to the Pickering Panthers 7-2 despite getting four more shots on net.
Jared McNeil and Jayden Levesque found the back of the net for Wellington.
Dario Cantini was the Duke’s goaltender.
It was a rough third period at the Dukedome with Wellington’s Vince Albanese getting a major and
a game misconduct for fighting. A Linday player was also thrown out of the game.
The Dukes are in Aurora Saturday for a 7:30 start.
In Jr. C action Friday night it was Napanee over Amherstview 4-1. Saturday the Raiders will be in Frankford for a 7 o’clock start..
In the Eastern Ontario Senior’s League the playoffs start Saturday with best-of-three series. The Madawaska Valley Wolves will be in Tweed taking on the Oil Kings at 2 o’clock and the Lindsay Barncats visit the Deseronto Bulldogs at 6:30.
