A Trenton man has been sentenced to a further 36 months in jail after pleading guilty to an aggravated assault charge following a stabbing in early September of last year.
Justin Lyons, 38 at the time of the incident, had originally been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was arrested soon after Quinte West OPP found a 34-year-old man with serious stab wounds in a Trenton apartment.
Lyons, who was sentenced January 31 in a Belleville courtroom, had been in custody since his arrest and was also given a lifetime weapons prohibition.
