Prince Edward County OPP say a traffic complaint has resulted in a driver being charged with impaired operation.
Police responded to a traffic complaint of a possible impaired driver on Gardenville Road at around 12 p.m. on Sunday.
Further investigation led to an Approved Screening Device being utilized, and the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.
46-year-old Jacqueline Eddy of Prince Edward County was arrested and charged with the following:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Fail or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 26, 2025.
They also had their driver’s license suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
