Environment Canada is warning of significant snowfall for Belleville, Quinte West and east Northumberland County.
Beginning Wednesday afternoon, the weather agency warns of total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm.
The snowfall is expected to continue through into Thursday.
They also warn of peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour as well as poor visibility in heavy snow.
Snow may become mixed with ice pellets early Thursday morning but should gradually taper off through Thursday afternoon.
