The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit has charged two people and seized illegal drugs in the Amherstview area of Loyalist Township.
On Wednesday, February 5, Street Crime Unit officers, assisted by members of Lennox and Addington OPP, the OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Canine Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Huff Avenue.
Police also conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Amherst Drive.
Two people were arrested.
Investigators seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine.
Officers also seized a vehicle and items typically associated with drug trafficking.
A 22-year-old man from South Frontenac and a 37-year-old woman from Loyalist Township are facing drug trafficking and other charges.
Both were held for a bail hearing.
