The Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair (QRSTF) is gearing up for its 2025 edition on April 5 and is in need of volunteers to serve as judges.
Judges will play a vital role in fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and enthusiasm among students in the Quinte area.
QRSTF officials say your background and expertise can significantly impact these young minds, helping them grow and excel in their scientific pursuits.
Judging participants may have a background in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM), or simply a passion for encouraging youth to participate.
To prepare for this experience, two judges’ orientation meetings are scheduled for March 18 and 19, 2025. During these sessions, potential judges will receive guidance on the judging process, criteria for evaluation, and insights on how to effectively communicate with young participants about their projects.
For more information or to register as a judge, please visit the QRSTF website or contact contact them directly (www.qrstf.ca or qrstf@live.com ).
