OPP seized cocaine and fentanyl after officers were called to check on a possibly unconscious driver in Napanee.
Shortly before 9 a.m. on Monday, Lennox and Addington OPP responded to a Water Street residence where it was reported a vehicle was running, and the driver appeared to be unconscious.
Following an investigation, police searched the vehicle and located just over 10 grams each of suspected cocaine and fentanyl as well as multiple cell phones.
Twenty-one-year-old Rebecca Norman-Hill of Greater Napanee was arrested and charged with:
– Operation while impaired – drug
-Refusal to comply with demand
-Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
-Breach of probation
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing on Tuesday.
Her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and vehicle was impounded for seven days.
