A person has been charged with intimate partner violence-related charges following a domestic dispute in Prince Edward County.
OPP responded to the incident at around 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
A 36-year-old from Prince Edward County was charged with the following:
- Assault With a weapon
- Assault
- Sexual assault with a weapon
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The individual was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
