Prince Edward County has approved a zoning update, to allow a medical clinic on Macsteven Drive in Picton.
During Wednesday’s Planning and Development Committee meeting, committee members voted to approve a zoning update for the property at 11 Macsteven Drive.
The new zoning of Special General Industrial includes special provisions to recognize an existing restaurant on the land, as well as permitting a medical clinic and classroom space associated with the Prince Edward Collegiate Institute.
The zoning amendment passed without debate. The application was sent on to council for final approval.
