There will be Vegas vibes in Quinte West on November 21.
Hospice Quinte is holding its first Shining Star Society Casino Night at the National Air Force Museum in Trenton on November 21.
Hospice Quinte provides end of life care to residents across the region, including care at the Stan Klemencic Care Centre in Bayside.
Matt Del Grosso, Hospice Quinte’s Donor Relations Manager says they hope to raise $100,000 in what will be their biggest fundraiser of the year.
“Six black jack tables, a couple of poker tables, roulette and the craps and it’s gonna feel like Las Vegas in Quinte West.”
Purchasing a ticket to the event will get you chips to play the games.
“They’re gonna be playing with play chips to start and then you cash them in for tickets to be put into a draw for some of the big prizes.”
Some of those prizes include tickets to the World Junior Hockey Championship in Ottawa as well as golf and spa packages.
The evening will also feature hors d’oeuvres, drinks, entertainment and dancing with the Impish Grins, a VIP Lounge, photo booth, and much more.
Should players run out of chips, they can receive more with a donation.
Tickets are $200 each and can be purchased online at hospicequinte.ca or by calling Hospice Quinte at 613-966-6610.
