Assault and mischief charges have been laid following a disturbance in Brighton.
Northumberland OPP responded to a report of a dispute at an Elizabeth Street residence just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
OPP arrived to find a window smashed and a resident assaulted.
No injuries were reported.
The accused had left the area and later returned where she was met by officers.
A 29-year-old Brighton woman has been charged.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in Cobourg at a future date.
