Marmora and Lake council has set its budget for 2024.
Its $11.7 million operating and capital budgets will lead to an almost 11 per cent tax levy increase
over last year.
The increase means the average homeowner in Marmora and Lake with a house valued at $167,000 will see taxes increase by $224 a year.
Almost 80 per cent of homes in the municipality are valued at $200,000 or less.
