Quinte West OPP tracked down two alleged shoplifters following a theft from a business in Trenton.
OPP responded to a shoplifting in progress at a business on Dundas Street East Thursday afternoon where the two suspects had fled the scene after being confronted by staff.
Officers obtained descriptions of the two males as well as their vehicle.
Both suspects were located and arrested.
Bogdan Dobranici, 39 years old and Mihaiflorin Mielu, 42 years old, both of no fixed address, face the following charges:
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of an identity document – four counts
- Possession of a credit card – four counts
Dobranici is also charged with dangerous operation.
