Staff and volunteers from Shoppers Drug Mart on Sidney Street in Belleville have donated more than $10,000 to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
The $10,500 donation comes from the 2023 Love You Campaign.
Formerly known as the Tree of Life initiative, Shoppers has donated more than $150,000 since 2013.
Shoppers owner Wynand Bekker says funds are collected through two main initiatives – an annual yard sale and a three-pitch ball tournament.
The donation will be directed to Belleville General Hospital’s Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Care clinic.
