Belleville native Trevor Hoskin scored once and added two assists to help Team Canada East score a 5-2 victory over Canada West at the World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Truro Nova Scotia.
Taeo Artichuk of the Trenton Golden Hawks added a goal and assist as Canada East improves to 2-0 at the five-team four-country tournament.
Hoskin has five points in two games.
Golden Hawks head coach Derek Smith of Belleville is an assistant on Team Canada East.
They play Sweden on Wednesday.
In the other game, the U.S. scored a 6-1 win over Slovakia.
