One of Quinte’s most fun – and safe – Halloween traditions is back again this year.
In Halloween at the Village, the Children’s Safety Village Belleville opens its gates for local children to enjoy a fun and safe Halloween.
Children of all ages are welcome to come Trick or Treat on the streets of the miniature village without having to worry about traffic or other challenges.
Last year more than 1,000 people visited and received treats from local police, firefighters, paramedics and other friends and supporters of the village.
This year’s event runs Tuesday Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 129 South John Street, with parking available behind the old police station on Dundas Street. The parking entrance is off George Street.
This year the village is also opening from 4 – 5 p.m. for all those with sensory sensitivities and accessibility issues to enjoy the Halloween experience.
