One person has been charged in a shoplifting investigation in Trenton.
Quinte West OPP were called to a 2nd Dug Hill Road business around 11 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The shoplifting suspect was confronted by a store employee but fled the area prior to police arrival.
Investigation led to the arrest of 28-year-old Adam Dunn of Belleville on charges of:
Theft under $5000
Possession of property obtained by crime
Possession of schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
